Browser Extension Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
The Mingora BaZi browser extension calculates charts on your device. Your birth date, time, gender, and chart are not transmitted to Mingora.
Data you enter
You may enter a birth date, birth time, gender, and birth city. The extension uses the selected city's time zone and longitude to calculate the chart inside your browser.
City search
As you search for a city, the words you type are sent to the Mingora city search service. It returns matching city names, time zones, and coordinates. Your birth date, birth time, gender, and chart are not included in this request.
Local storage
The extension can save up to five recent charts through browser-local storage. This information stays on your device. You can clear it from the extension at any time.
Permissions
The extension requests storage permission and access to mingora.app. Storage keeps recent charts on your device. Access to mingora.app powers city search and links to Mingora. The extension does not request browsing history, tabs, cookies, device location, or access to other websites.
Links to Mingora
When you choose to open Mingora, the link includes campaign parameters that identify the browser extension as the traffic source. Birth details and chart results are not included in the link.
Data sharing
The extension does not sell personal data. City search requests go only to Mingora. Chart calculation and recent history remain on your device.
