Birth time usually changes the Hour Pillar rather than the Day Master. Accurate local timing can still matter near date boundaries, so Mingora uses birth city and location-aware time when calculating the complete chart.
Is BaZi based on the solar or lunar calendar?+
Mingora accepts your standard calendar birth date and applies BaZi solar-term rules internally. You do not need to convert your birthday to a lunar date before using the calculator.
Why do BaZi calculators sometimes disagree?+
Differences can come from timezone handling, true solar time, solar-term boundaries, day-change conventions, or missing birth location. Mingora uses location-aware timing and shows when the Hour Pillar is unavailable.
Do I need my exact birth time?+
Exact birth time helps calculate the hour pillar and can improve timing detail. If you do not know it, Mingora can still calculate a three-pillar chart and generate a more cautious preview.
