Step 1
Start with your Day Master
Mingora keeps the original term visible, explains its role as the chart's central reference, and places it in the context of the whole chart.

This is the chart's central reference point—the starting place for understanding how the other pillars and elements relate to the person.
How Mingora reads this
Fire is the most prominent element after seasonal adjustment. Mingora connects it with the Day Master and the other elements to explain the chart as a whole.
Example only. Your chart is calculated from your own birth date, birth time when known, and birth city.
A chart becomes easier to understand when you read it in sequence instead of treating every symbol as a separate prediction.

The calculator uses the birth date, timezone, location-aware time, and solar-term boundaries to generate the Four Pillars, Day Master, and Five Elements distribution.
The optional reading translates that structure into patterns, relationships, career rhythm, and practical reflection.
Sets the calendar moment used to calculate the year, month, and day pillars, including solar-term boundaries.
Completes the Hour Pillar when known. If it is missing, Mingora leaves that pillar out instead of guessing.
Provides timezone and longitude context for location-aware timing and true solar time adjustment.

FAQ
A BaZi calculator turns birth date, birth time, and birth location into a Four Pillars chart. Mingora focuses on the calculation step first: pillars, Day Master, and Five Elements balance.
Yes. You can calculate your Four Pillars, Day Master, true solar time when available, and Five Elements balance for free without creating an account.
Yes. Your Day Master is the Heavenly Stem of the Day Pillar, which is calculated from your birth date. Mingora also asks for birth city and optional birth time so the surrounding Four Pillars use careful location-aware timing.
Birth time usually changes the Hour Pillar rather than the Day Master. Accurate local timing can still matter near date boundaries, so Mingora uses birth city and location-aware time when calculating the complete chart.
Mingora accepts your standard calendar birth date and applies BaZi solar-term rules internally. You do not need to convert your birthday to a lunar date before using the calculator.
Differences can come from timezone handling, true solar time, solar-term boundaries, day-change conventions, or missing birth location. Mingora uses location-aware timing and shows when the Hour Pillar is unavailable.
Exact birth time helps calculate the hour pillar and can improve timing detail. If you do not know it, Mingora can still calculate a simpler three-pillar chart.
Birth city helps Mingora determine timezone and location-aware timing. This is especially useful near date or hour boundaries, where a small time shift can change the chart calculation.
Yes. Mingora keeps the original BaZi terms visible, then explains their role in the chart and shows how the different parts connect. Technical calculation details remain available when you want to go deeper.
No. The result is written for modern readers in clear English. Terms such as Day Master, Five Elements, Ten Gods, and Da Yun are introduced with context instead of being left as unexplained labels.
